Mike Tournier is Executive Director of the Carbon Market Institute, a national, independent, not-for-profit, membership-based organisation headquartered in Melbourne. The CMI commenced operation on 1 January 2011 as a national organisation with a mandate to assist Australian business with the implementation of climate-related markets, both in terms of managing risk and realising business opportunities. CMI incorporates and builds on the networks, partnerships and services developed by the former Asia-Pacific Emissions Trading Forum (AETF) which began operations in 1998.![]()
Nathan Fabian is the Chief Executive of the Investor Group on Climate Change Australia and New Zealand. The IGCC represents institutional investors, with funds under management of over $500 billion, and others in the investment community exposed to the impacts of climate change.
The IGCC aims to ensure that the risks and opportunities associated with climate change are incorporated into investment decisions for the ultimate benefit of individual investors.
