3. Get delegates email addresses and send out an e-brochure. Limit your amount of printed handouts.
4. Ask yourself if you really need to use AV equipment, if you do, ask your supplier for energy efficient options and ensure you switch it off at the wall at the end of the day.
5. If providing food/drinks make this seasonal, local, environmentally friendly and or CEMARS/carboNZero certified.
6. When preparing a new stand ensure materials (wood, furniture, paints etc.) come from environmentally sustainable sources. Ask you suppliers what environmental standards the products meet.
7. Don’t wait till the last minute to freight equipment, ensure you make time to send it by land rather than air. You can also try to share freight with others who are exhibiting and are in your area.
8. Ensure you use the provided recycling facilities at pack down and during the event to dispose of any waste you create.
9. Are you using lighting? Make the most of the latest (energy efficient) LED technology.
10. Use reusable packaging materials for transporting your stand.
